DMUninstaller removal instructions

What is DMUninstaller?

DMUninstaller is a type of web browser scam produced by various dubious adware developers. It installs itself in Chrome, IE and Firefox and tracks the pages the user visits in order to place advertising (banners, text-links, popups) on the website. After it completes its installation, DMUninstaller tracks the usage and browsing behavior of each web browser active and then attempts to display unwanted ads in the form of banners, text-links, interstitial and popup ads. Most ads take the form of unwanted software installations for registry cleaners and go so far as offering to install other scamware ware and even strait out malware through exploits that take advantage of flaws in Flash or Java.

DMUninstaller may display an "alert" in the toolbar and/or cause a small box to appear when you visit a merchant site, and may notify you there is a coupon, discount or special deal available for the Affiliate Store. DMUninstaller is very dangerous to your privacy in that its monitoring and tracking of online activities is very concerning. DMUninstaller uses information from your browser activity to provide alerts that are relevant to your browser activity. Such traceable activities are captures and shared with third-party networks and advertisers and include but are not limited to the web pages that are visited, ads that are displayed and clicked on as well as other privacy issues. In many cases, the scam uses very dangerous advertising networks and feeds to display the ads which makes the computer very susceptible to other scams and malware infections by taking advantage of flaws in security on the computer, browser and installed plugins.
